THE PEOPLE OF NEPAL


Nepal has a population of more than 26 million people, made up of over 40 different races and tribes. Here two major groups in Nepalese society are Tibeto-Burmans, or Mongoloids from the north, and Indo-Aryans from the south. Life here is delicate balance of hard work and social merrymaking, tempered by a culture deeply steeped in ancient religious traditions.Most of the people in Nepal are Hindu and Buddist, and rest are difrrent realigion.Nepals people food are similar to Indian cousine. Nepali food is generally similar to Indian cuisine. Rice, the staple cereal, is boiled and eaten with lentils and spiced vegetables. Beef is not available, but poultry, goat, and buffalo meat are consume.
